The Equine Anatomy Home Study Course was initially developed as a prerequisite to EquiTouch® Systems, Inc. Equine Sports Massage Therapy Certification Course. However, it is clear-cut, easy to read, and quite suitable for anyone interested in learning more about the horse. It contains information about the basic skeletal structure, types of joints and how they function, the points of the horse, and the basic musculature, i.e., superficial muscles and their actions. Additional information includes a glossary, pronunciation of terms, and more.
The Equine Anatomy Home Study Course is divided into chapters and sections. The home study format allows you to learn at your own pace. You may take as much time as you need to read and digest the material provided. Then, examine your level of comprehension and retention as you study by completing the review questions after each section. When you feel prepared, you can test your knowledge by completing the tests for each chapter.
As a special bonus, home study course students who subsequently attend EquiTouch® Eq. 101/1022 will receive 60 hours of homestudy credit to be applied toward your 150 hour certificate of training through EquiTouch® Systems. Simply comply with the instructions in the home study course manual.
